I finally took some time to learn the basics of HL7, and honestly it cleared up so many things I kept running into at work. This free intro helped a lot: HL7 Before this, HL7 messages felt like a wall of random characters, but once you understand segments and how different systems talk to each other, it all makes way more sense. If you’re dealing with EHR integrations, lab interfaces, or just want to understand why data sometimes breaks between systems, this is a solid starting point. Super beginner-friendly and actually practical.
