I Thought I Was Done… Then Eggy Car Pulled Me Back In Again
I honestly believed the hype was over — at least for me. After two long blog posts and countless failed runs, I told myself I had finally made peace with this tiny, ridiculous, emotionally exhausting game. I closed the tab. I moved on to other things. Work. Life. Other games.
And then, on a quiet evening when my brain felt tired and noisy, I caught myself thinking about one very specific moment: that gentle wobble right before the egg falls.
That’s how Eggy Car got me for the third time.
Coming Back With “Experience” (And a Bit of Ego)
This time, I returned with confidence. Not the reckless confidence of a beginner, but the calm arrogance of someone who thinks they understand the game.
“I know how this works now,” I told myself.
“I’ve learned patience.”
“I won’t rush.”
Famous last words.
The first few runs went well. Really well. I didn’t break any records, but I felt stable. Controlled. Almost professional. The egg stayed centered. The hills didn’t scare me anymore. I started believing I had finally mastered the rhythm.
That belief lasted about ten minutes.
