Why I Can’t Find a Job Abroad
Many people dream of working abroad, but the reality is often more difficult than expected. Despite strong motivation and constant effort, I still cannot find a job in another country. This situation is frustrating and emotionally challenging, especially when time, money, and hope have already been invested in the process.
One of the main problems is strict visa and work permit requirements. Many employers prefer candidates who already have the legal right to work, as sponsoring a foreign employee can be expensive and time-consuming. Even qualified professionals are often rejected simply because of their immigration status, not their skills or experience.
Another major obstacle is high competition. The global job market is crowded with talented candidates from all over the world. Local applicants usually have an advantage because they understand the culture, speak the language fluently, and are available for in-person interviews. As a result, foreign job seekers often struggle to stand out among hundreds of applications.
Language barriers also play a significant role. Even when English is sufficient for daily communication, employers may expect advanced professional language skills or knowledge of the local language. This can limit the number of suitable job opportunities and lower confidence during interviews.
