Small Business and Scaling Through AI

I’ve been running a small online marketing agency for about three years now, and lately I’ve been feeling stuck. We’re getting more clients, but hiring more people feels risky and expensive. I recently came across an article on scientificasia.net — https://scientificasia.net/the-economics-of-the-service-economy-scaling-human-plus-ai-operations/ , that talks about scaling service businesses by combining human talent with AI systems instead of just increasing headcount. It really made me think.

Last month, one of our projects almost burned us out because of repetitive reporting tasks. We tested a simple automation tool, and it saved us hours every week. Now I’m wondering — is AI truly a realistic way for small businesses to scale sustainably, or is it mostly something that works better for larger companies with bigger budgets? Has anyone here actually grown their small business this way?
